This privacy policy describes how MarinaC S.r.l., trading as MarinaC Kids ("we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit our website, browse our collection, place an order or contact us. You can reach us at hello@marinackids.com.
What information we collect
We collect contact details such as your name, email address and phone number where you provide them; billing and delivery details when you order; order and transaction information; made-to-measure details such as mattress, duvet and pillow measurements; personalisation details such as initials, names, dates or motif selections; messages you send us through our contact form or by email; and technical information such as your device, browser, cookies and how you use our website, where applicable.
Orders and made-to-measure information
Our bedding is made to your measurements. To make and deliver your product we need the mattress, duvet or pillow measurements you enter in the configurator, along with any personalisation details you choose, such as initials, a name, a date or a motif. We use this information only to produce, fulfil and support your order.
How we use your information and why
We use your information to process and fulfil your orders, take payment, arrange delivery and provide customer service, because it is necessary for our contract with you. We keep records for tax, accounting, fraud prevention and compliance purposes, where the law requires it. We use information to operate, secure and improve our website and service, where we have a legitimate interest in doing so. We send marketing communications and use any non-essential cookies or analytics only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our shop: our ecommerce and checkout providers, including Shopify when checkout is enabled and used; payment providers; delivery and logistics providers; email and communications providers such as Brevo where used; and our website hosting and technical providers. Where required, we may also share information with professional advisers or public authorities to comply with the law.
Payment information
When you pay, your payment details are processed by our payment and checkout provider. MarinaC Kids does not need to see or store your full card details.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process your information outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as required by law.
How long we keep your information
We keep order and transaction records for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal obligations. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe, withdraw your consent or it is no longer needed, and contact enquiries only for as long as needed to handle them.

You have the right to access your personal information, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time. Children's privacy
Our products are made for children, but our website and ordering are intended for adults. Orders and personalisation details must be submitted by a parent, guardian or another adult.
